yH kicked the Spring Programme off on the 17th of January with our Careers Fair in Trinity Comprehensive School in Ballymun. We were delighted to be accompanied by many different companies and volunteers who dedicated part of their day to talking with our students about their careers and how they got into them. A huge thanks to all our volunteers from Aer Lingus, Nissan, Mater Hospital, Liberties College, ESB, Electric Ireland,, Rte, Wooly Farm, Chartered Accountants Ireland, IASA, Skylon Hotel and Dublin Bus.

yH students have been busy in February with talks by Chef Wayne and Sergeant Kevin, and visits to D.I.T., ESB, and Aer Lingus.

After putting out fires, jumping into a raft, and finding the exit while surrounded by smoke, students from Trinity Comprehensive declared their intention to become members of cabin crew in the future! Huge thank you to the lovely Aer Lingus volunteers, Jen and Aisling, who facilitated the tours.

‚ÄčThank you to our ESB volunteers, Sean and Dave for bringing the  6th year Blakestown CS students on a tour of Dublin Bay power plant and showing them the different careers.  Also, thank you to our volunteer, Chef Wayne, from  DNATA  for talking to 2nd year Blakestown Students and blowing them away with his awesome ice-cream making skills!
