Guidelines for Fundraising

yH Leinster (young Horizons) is fully committed to achieving the standards contained within the Guidelines for Charitable Organisations on Fundraising from the Public which was issued by the Charities Regulator in September 2017.

The guidelines are intended to assist trustees of a charity to run the charity effectively, avoid difficulties in respect of fundraising activities and comply with their legal duties. For more information on our compliance see documents below.

Child Protection Statement

Young Horizon’s policy with child protection is to promote overall welfare and development of the child, contributing to the growth of his or her self-esteem and personal autonomy. Young Horizons aims to achieve this by creating an environment where trust, respect, equity and, in particular, a real willingness to listen to children is established and where a focus on what is in the interests of the child is the guiding principle. In compliance with the 2012 Children First guidelines, see below for links to our Child Protection Statement and policies.
